The only problem with holidays is that each one is only one day – either you have to cram a huge amount of cooking into that one day or you only get to cook one or two things. I dislike that method, so I spread a holiday out for a whole week. Including Valentine’s Day!
I’ll be making themed foods throughout this week, starting today. My current menu:
- Stuffed and braised Cow Heart
- Strawberry Heart-Shaped pie
- Decorated chicken pot pie
I’ll be tacking 1-2 more items on there later as well. For now, it’s time to start cutting blood vessels from meat and finding my heart-shaped dough cutters!
