Last post, I talked about my two attempts at Massimo’s pesto pasta.
Well, I also had another great time with Masterclass and Massimo – they had a giveaway for an Osteria Francescana apron, autographed by Massimo himself, during the time I was taking his class and doing the cooking experiments! I was a very lucky winner and practically fogged the glass of my front window for weeks waiting for it to arrive.

While waiting, I bought a shadowbox frame for it and cleared a wall area for it to go. I knew I couldn’t use the apron, so I’d keep it pristine and perfect above the aprons I do use and get all dirty. While it’s funny enough to say, it’s also something I see on the way to my trash can – a perfect time to make sure I’m following Massimo’s initiative to waste nothing and use everything!
What a perfect giveaway from Masterclass for its culinary students! I’m crossing my fingers that they may implement it for other instructor chefs. How I would love to have a chance at a French Laundry autographed apron hanging next to Massimo’s!

My kitchen is slowly turning into a Masterclass/celebrity chef museum.
