After years of talking about wanting to open a made-to-order bakery, it’s finally happening. We’ve launched the website, launched the facebook page, became an official LLC with the state, approached in-store business owners if they’d like to carry our stock product, and have the order form running. I’ve had the business cards and items sitting about for over a year, just waiting and waiting, and then one day this week (after a phone call with business insurance), we just went ahead and made announcements and pushed ourselves out there.
I don’t feel 100% ready – I had to rush order some packaging and I don’t have photos of more than 1-2 of the 6″ cakes I offer. But it’s a start.

I have no idea what to really expect from this business venture (except making lots of delicious food!) but here’s to finally taking that step I’ve been hesitating on for years. Whether it does well or falls flat, at least I can say I went for it!
